Aiden purchases his dream car, a blue 1972 VW Super Beetle named “Miss Maggie the Bug.”

Aiden, our Season 3, Episode guest reached out to let me know he recently purchased his dream car, a blue 1972 VW Super Beetle that he named Miss Maggie the Bug. The episode with Aiden included his father, Tom, which made for a great father/son episode.

From his message to me:

”It’s a 1972 vw super beetle I actually saw it in a dealership a year ago and since I couldn’t get it I wrote a song about it and that song won me an international song writers competition then the dealership that I saw it at shut down it was raided by cops and I couldn’t find the bug anywhere until I found a listing on marketplace for 1978 280z and in the background I saw it the little blue beetle and I messaged the guy and he said 6000 drive home so I wait a little longer and he drops it to 5000 and I took my shot we run up there and the bug is sitting out front next to a warehouse. The seller comes out and opens this warehouse to me seeing 96 other cars like gt40s ac cobras 1 of 7 original Eleanor’s from gone in 60 seconds if you name a car he has it and he pulls out this little bug and says you know what your a nice kid 4 grand and you take it home the next day I ofc take it home now the bug officially named now Miss Maggie is sitting in my driveway”
